Honda Motor Co.. Ltd (Honda Giken K?gy? Kabushiki Kaisha) is a company of Japanese origin which manufactures vehicles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles and mopeds. In addition manufactures engines for different uses, boats and equipment for the garden.

It was founded in 1946 in Hamamatsu by Soichiro Honda with the name of Honda Technical Research Institute (Honda Technical Research Institute). In 1947 comes to light the first product from the factory, a bicycle with A-type engine.
