GM (like Ford) , is going through one of his worst moments in their history, where the financial crisis USA has further worsened their situation.
This is why GM , during this last time, it has largely cut their expenses and future projects, where all injured have left their marks on this. The European part of the group is currently gives more gain ( Opel and Saab ), which did not receive a cut so sharp. But in USA signature characteristic of GM are not getting a good pass at the moment, and one of the brands that are most detrimental to all this is Pontiac , signing more sports the group.
In a couple of years we will see that a Pontiac he cut several models. One of them will be the G8 , as it lost traction rear platform, where this disappears within five years.
