2010 Lotus Esprit, recreations and new details that are closer to reality

Since some time has been announced the return of the legendary home of English sport, the Lotus Esprit , one of the most enduring super history and one of the pillars of the firm for several decades.
The new Esprit has been delayed, unfortunately, because of the global financial debacle. But they said (hopefully) that the new English superdeportivo is finally with us in mid- 2011 .
As we see in these outstanding recreation, the new Esprit is a whole new feeling when this market, since as we see in images, it did not lose the spirit of the model (which is so important s). The Esprit has the aesthetic legacy of their cousins the Lamborghini Countach , the Lancia Stratos (more than anything the prototype Bertone that derives from this) super and many of this era, where the beauty of it was pulled forward, like an arrow. As we see the history of this Lotus are not negligible.
As we see a yellow recreation intent directly to Lamborghini , which appear to have some aesthetic at the front (optical and air intake). But apart from that it looks very good and aggressive, as it should be. In an interesting side appreciate the combination of window and the entry of air, where they form an arrow in reverse (very interesting and very good for the model). And at the back we can see some very large lenses, a large exhaust and an engine cover recalls former Lamborghinis, , and of course andalusia Esprit of 70s and 80s .
And in the case of recreation white, the only changes with respect to the above, the design of its optical and front grille, as we see in this picture is more like an aesthetic current models of the brand ( rounded grille and optical). I particularly, I think this is more in line for recreation Esprit because it has less to do with the Italian.
In addition it is expected that the Esprit share many components with the Evora , where they are from the air conditioning system, suspension, brakes front and rear, pedal, steering column and rack , headlights (hopefully not) and the seats.
The platform would be modular and aluminum. The gearbox is a double-clutch drive sequential transaxle and disposal, with an electronic self-differential. Would be a V10 engine or a V8 BMW with a power ranging from 500 to 550 hp. For now everything is still a rumor, but not much to know all the details.
