NAIAS 2009 Concept Sportback Audi and Mercedes Benz E-Class

The German companies have not been left behind, as is customary in Detroit , they have exclusive firsts for this market and the world. In the case of Audi , this presented a prototype that he anticipates the new brand lines, and Mercedes us to the new Class E
Audi Sportback Concept:
Audi at Detroit 2009 , the prototype shows how the lines will be your new A7 , the model that will compete on an equal footing with the CLS of Mercedes . The aesthetics of this new prototype is really very different to what came to raise the mark.
On the front we see some very interesting optical, a grid that changes slightly (now with six sides) and a bottom, which in my view it recharges too. The engine of this prototype is a 3.0 liters TDI V6 with 225 hp with a change S-Tronic seven speeds. The average consumption is very good, 39 mpg (6.0 l/100).
His style is very new for the firm. But if this becomes reality, as we see it, would not be right. One of the sort that has almost hatchback, and the other by the resemblance to the possible Estoque (the first Lamborghini 4-door). This style is not very good standing with the mark. So Audi like to see the reaction of the public before starting to produce it.
2009 Mercedes Benz E-Class:
After seeing several pictures spy, filtered, and so at last we can see is the new Class E of Mercedes , a model that was expected for some time. The changes are very important and very key, which is so well, that hardly can be identified as a new Class E .
On the front we see a new optical and grill, where the same change much (though not sound) the way we have to see the mark, as are four lenses, but with a semi-style square, and If the grid is much larger, which in my view, it is almost an abuse by the firm (reminds me of the Cadillac ).
On the side we see a line that continues to implemented in the S-Class , which incorporates a new line up behind the lens. And some see the back with a new optical design (with larger and more square) and a termination point (see the signature logo) that reminds me again Cadillac .
In addition to significantly grown in size, 4.87 long, 1.85 wide and 1.47 high. Its wheelbase grows two centimeters to 2.87 meters.
The new engines will have Class E is the 1.8 184 and 204 hp, a 3.5 V6 272 hp (with integral traction), 3.5 V6 292 hp and a 5.5 V8 388 hp, available at front-wheel drive or full back. In a diesel is 2.1 liters with 136, 170 and 204 hp, 3.0 liters and a V6 with 231 ( BlueEfficiency , reduced consumption) or 211 hp ( Bluetec ).
