Renault and its low-cost cars

One of the policies that seem crucial for all brands in the future, is to have in your catalog sales cars cheaper and affordable. One idea that was implemented long ago, but in no way was taken over by larger firms.
Renault is the only large firms that take this seriously, more economical cars have in their catalog, but this is not something that was deliberately designed (at first), but is was acquired by once a Dacia and now Lada . Two firms always specialized in cheap cars with no style and design, but with the handling of Renault this changes dramatically.
Now under the tutelage of Renault , both firms will grow in quality and design, ( Dacia already did) but if firms that remain will be provided under the French firm, as its history and the market can never be compared to that of Renault .
?
In Logan discover and Symbol, Renault shows you the other firms that may have low-cost cars in the catalog without having to detract from the other models. One idea they have in mind the rest of the marks, they were able to see the success Renault over the years with this new policy. For that matter, not much to see brands cheap and expensive brands in general.
The only problem I see in the work he did Renault with Dacia and some of their own models, the Logan the discover and Symbol , is not having a nice design (either abroad or in interior), a detail which seriously affects their sales in some markets.
What I wonder is, why a car should be less ugly, “there can be a cheap car but with an interesting or pleasing design. Perhaps this makes it more expensive. I do not understand this part of company policy. One can understand that you have materials of lesser quality, but they are disagreeable to the eye.
The worst of the three is without a doubt Symbol , as it is very ostentatious and with a design that already has some 10 years on the market approx. This is only a Clío tricuerpo redesigned. Very bad decision.
That is very commendable that Renault is intended to design cheaper models for emerging markets, but that does not mean that those who buy these cars do not know anything about design and is an excuse to sell anything. Just hope it Renault changed, and the new Dacia and future Lada , cars are more enjoyable. This is my humble opinion. What do you think?
