Mitsubishi Ralliart

Mitsubishi Ralliart partially closes his section because of the economic difficulties that the company spends. In a statement posted on the official website of Ralliart, Masao Taguchi president announced the news during the day yesterday , and set out the reasons why the Mitsubishi manufacturer could not keep investing in the development of cars to the world of racing.

” Due to the sudden change of economic situation from two years ago, the circumstances surrounding our company dramatically worsened. And so, on this occasion, we have come to the conclusion that it is best to partially reduce our activities in Ralliart Inc from the end of March 2010 .”

The statement said Ralliart will no longer support companies such as motor sport so far , while that rule to be developing or marketing new products, with all its future plans canceled, or little on stand-by. Still, Ralliart had a key role in the development of the Mitsubishi Evo range, although from April 1 will be Mitsubishi Motors itself one to provide for their development.

The Ralliart name had international recognition thanks to success in world rally harvested in the late 90s. His star was the Finnish driver Tommi Makinen, who won trophies lifted with the WRC seasons 96, 97, 98 and 99 at the wheel of the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart.
