2012 Jaguar C-Type, recreation

Jaguar be developed (supposedly) a direct rival to the Porsche Boxster, Audi TT, BMW Z4, Nissan 370Z and Mercedes SLK .
The dilemma, if this becomes reality, (in my opinion) would be in the name because it tells us as Auto Express , the same series C-Type. A model to gain many careers in Le Mans and that gave Jaguar, the design and sportsmanship that the signature was missing at that time.
If C-2012 Type comes to reality, I think that your chosen name is too much for it (personal opinion), because unlike the C-Type of 50s (picture below), the new would not have even the segment to which belonged the famous model (super competitive, but not for sale), and is located just below the XK , which in my view would not be appropriate. The name must be other, as XE For example, What do you think?
In the picture we see in recreation, we appreciate that children of Auto Express devoted only a little shorter in the current XK, , and incorporates some new terms and details.
The course C-2012 Type incorporate the new engine that Jaguar is the XF and XK , where they are from the 3 liter turbo diesel, and The new V6 and V8 high cylinder.
The C-Type , new XJ , and other models being developed Jaguar , possibly look at the Frankfurt Hall in September. For now, as usual, are just rumors.
