Fiat is one of the brands that introduce more developments in the Hall San Pablo this year (Click here and here). But this is not just special models and prototypes, but also became a place to display their models with alternative fuels, like this Palio Weekend electric. Its development was created in conjunction with the hydro Itaipu and the Swiss company KWO .
This is a 20 hp engine which is supplied with a battery of nickel located in the lower part of the trunk, (it is not Lithium-Ion , for it is still very expensive). Their autonomy is 120 km . In the internal changes the gear lever by a joystick that lets you choose among three positions: Drive, Neutral and Reverse . As we see it is not a hybrid, but it’s only a car for use in the city with little or distances.
As for the aesthetic is the same Wekkend with the same details and specifics, which only takes a unique color green, a small graphic and interior Joystick previously mentioned. There are no data that comes into production, but if it occurs, would be the first electric car in the region.
