Mercedes and its new designs

It has been a long time I wonder what happened to the design and care of the line Mercedes Benz . Of the three major German luxury signatures today, Mercedes is the only one that began as a signature of super luxury renowned ( Daimler ). Audi at the time was a luxury, but neither was close to Mercedes and BMW always had the dedication and the bikes a little more economical cars and sports (of course talking to broadly). But now things have changed considerably.
Audi and BMW increased much over the past 30 years. Both firms are increasingly closer to the excellence of the Mercedes Of course each with a different strategy, since it is geared a little more competition, but without the luxury of leaving aside. Now, as I said, things changed radically, as BMW overcome this in several segments Mercedes , which would never have imagined.
For this situation, is that Mercedes is out there making decisions that will ultimately benefit not. The first alarm in the signing, was the failure of the class A , in many countries where the car is not comfortable at all.
Now, what has made the firm is geared more to sportsmanship, as well as its rivals do long ago. Developing models and sports sharp.
The first to be played with this policy (for sedans) was S-Class , where it joined an entirely new aesthetic. This in itself, the only defect that has (in my opinion) is the optical design of the front, as it seemed the blend of a Japanese car with a Peugeot . The optical front with the rear of the model are the worst. But in other respects is the best luxury sedan that exists today.
Then came the class C , which is too similar to S-Class , but in a size smaller. In the case is the same, power is nothing but how big is the grill. And the newcomer the Class E , the same finishes guess all these things have been looking at other models, where the grill and the optics do not favor at all. Not to mention the class A and class B , which models should never see the light.
We must clarify that this is a vision of how I see the mark at present. I think that Mercedes should be geared a little more to your story and leave a bit to see what makes the other brands. Sportsmanship should be, but this should not be paramount in the mark.
