Mitsubishi recorded in your last period, a net loss of 54,900 million yen 428 million euros ( ) in the 2008-2009 fiscal year (ended on March 31) A big loss for a firm not so great. And this is by reducing their levels of sales (which were reduced by 22%) and exceptional losses 27,500 million yen ( 214.3 million euros ) by default.

But this does not discourage the firm, as expected for this period (2009-2010), who profits and sales improved slightly. With the current energy and has signed with the measures to reduce costs have made an interesting amount of 5,000 million yen ( 39 million ).

In Europe is considered low, in this new period, 13% (932,000 units), and a decrease of 24% (1.5 trillion yen).

It’s a shame that this would happen to Mitsubishi , as the firm had rebounded with new models in 2007 and 2008. Anyway to provide an improvement over the year, and they expect that the i-MiEV en Europe and United States sales can grow exponentially. Something that I doubt will happen, because this model is one of the most interesting offerings in the environmental field.

Throughout the year, see what happens with the new models that provide the signature (the green range, based on the i-MiEV ), and with that we will see interesting prototypes in Frankfurt a mid-year (if attending).
