Mitsubishi planning to be at this point, add a i-MiEV cheaper so that everyone can access it. A very wise thinking, because due to the high price of batteries, electric cars and hybrids are priced too high.

For this reason, is that the Japanese made the decision to sell a cheaper option, and to put the Battery to get cheaper batteries for cars (it was supposed, but that cost ). Something that if not reversed in time could undermine the sale of electric cars.

Mitsubishi plans to lower the cost of i-MiEV to be in the 3 million yen, ( $ 31,400 ), a price that is about as conventional models of the market .

The downside is that these batteries will not have sufficient autonomy and interesting, which ultimately hurt a lot to this class of cars. The idea of Mitsubishi is marketed 30,000 units for 2011 .

On one side is excellent Mitsubishi lower the price of its electric model, but otherwise is very bad that the batteries have so little autonomy, a fact that prior to market entry, the signature must Reeves since those who purchase this vehicle is used very little. This issue of autonomy should be solved immediately, but the future of electric cars will be delayed more than they should.
