Mondragón City Car 2015, a new Spanish development

A few days ago presented the first image of a new Spanish development of a future City Car electric for the same market. The new City is a project of the Spanish group Mondragón , and impresses with its pleasing design and finish.
The group’s aim is to enter the electric car market between the 2015 and 2018 . The price would be 12,000 euros , plus the cost of batteries, an amount high enough for a car of its type. Anyway, it is difficult to confirm if this is the final price of the City and you just remain within five years.
This development aims to participate in a market with incredible potential. President Mondragón Automotive, José Ramón Goikoetxea it this way: “For the 2020 is estimated that electric cars will involve at least 10% of the global fleet. “
Also, along with Lotus and Fagor Ederlender are developing an engine to electric cars and will act as extensor of autonomy. The same could reach the market later this year.
The style and design is not much to say. It is very nice and has an aesthetic that really like it.
