New Mitsubishi L200

Four years after the official launch in Europe, the Mitsubishi L200 is updated with many changes and new diesel engines.
The many changes affecting improvements in design and functionality, increasing the possibility of loading, adding new equipment and debuting a new diesel engine plant achieves 178 hp.
The new Mitsubishi L200 is characterized by larger dimensions of the cargo box, updated exterior and interior design, new diesel engine of 178 CV , a large cabin with 215.3 cm long (Double Cab) system, “Super Select” with four chances to pull systems, traction control and stability, 5.9 m radius of rotation.
The new range features a L200 engine for diesel common rail direct injection with variable geometry turbo with 178 hp at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 2,850 rpm .
For all other versions are maintained mechanics 2.5 DI-D diesel 136 hp at 4,000 rpm and 314 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm , with some enhanced features, being now much quieter and less vibration its predecessor.
Both engines are mated to a box of 5-speed manual transmission.
The distribution of initial torque is a 33/67 between front and rear respectively, but may vary up to 50/50.
The range of the new L200 will be three trim levels: M-PRO, Challenge and Motion which combined with Single and Double Cab body styles and two engine cab, resulting in 4 versions:
- M-PRO . Available with single-aisle body and double cab with 136 hp engine. Mainly oriented to professional use, it has nonetheless with great equipment, among which: the drive system Easy Select 4WD, locking rear differential, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, air conditioning, …
- Challenge. This version is only available with 136 hp engine. On earlier version incorporates alloy wheels, side sills, fog headlights, chrome exterior mirrors, electric and heated, the exterior and interior door handles chrome door, besides the steering wheel and gear knob and leather-transfer .
- Motion. The range-topping version is only available with the new engine of 178 hp and adds front side airbags and curtain airbags, multifunction steering wheel (audio and cruise control), electrically folding exterior mirrors and rain sensors and darkness.
The range starts at 18.900 € (VAT and transport included), thanks to a launch promotion € 2,500 will be available until late April.
