Preseason Formula 1: Overview and practice time in Barcelona (Saturday and Sunday)

The F1 teams have ended the preseason on the Circuit de Catalunya , and unlike the previous two days, during which progress was made in the development of the cars, the presence of rain spoiled the party in Saturday’s pre-season testing in Formula 1.
In the last test session before the start of the championship in Bahrain (12-14 March) Nico Rosberg (Mercedes GP) was the fastest lap of 1:20.686 through the which marked the early hours of morning, just before rain interrupted practice for two hours. The remaining drivers, who did not shoot with a runway in optimal conditions, were led by Sebastien Buemi (Toro Rosso), with a time of 1:21.413.
Sunday Luckily the thing was much more placid, and advances in the development of most of the teams noted, is the first 8 riders close by at a distance of less than 5 tenths times from the first Lewis Hamilton (McLaren-Mercedes) 1:20.472 with until Kamui Kobayashi (BMW Sauber) who was eighth with a time of 1:20.911.

In conclusion apparently after four days in Barcelona we get that the times, unlike the first test in Jerez, have tightened so much between the teams that are not new addition . Instead newcomers Lotus and Virgin are more than two seconds of rest, so you have to work hard if they want to catch up with the other teams.
As to whether there is a clear favorite or not, it is obvious that Ferrari has been very strong and reliable for all test , although McLaren has managed to set the fastest time of four hours and appears to be back up after the irregular season completed in 2009. The umpire could be Red Bull, it seems that could again have chances to win the championship, with the permission of Mercedes GP, to see resolved all these questions can only hope the Bahrain Grand Prix.
