Seat Spanish market leader in automotive February

If the first month of the new year 2010 left us car sales in Spain rose 18.1% to 70,130 units placed in total, representing 18.1% more than the same period last year 2009, the second month of the year has followed the line upward. In February, new car registrations in our country have faced an increase of 47.1% compared to last year.
In total, during last February that just passed, Spanish soil were sold a total of 91,374 units. The leader in this respect was the Spanish car firm Seat which has catapulted into the forefront of the sector in Spain through its units sold in February 9083, 68% more than in the preceding month. We are closely following the French house Citroën vehicles registered in 8210. Ford completes the podium with 7733 units sold. Fifthly also find the French Peugeot (7,729), followed by Opel (7,542), Renault (7,342), and Volkswagen, which ranked seventh with 7119 units registered. The eighth place goes to Toyota (4,969), followed by Nissan (3,829) and Audi, which completes the top 10 best selling cars in 3589.
With these figures the Spanish firm is located Seat sales leader in our country both in February and little that far this year. The Spanish trade mark registrations last month rose twenty points above the average, representing a market share of almost 10%. The most in-demand model among all the Seat range for the month of February was the Seat Ibiza, which had a total of 4444 new units registered .

After Ibiza, the second car with more success among domestic users has been, how could it be otherwise, the Renault Megane, which sold 4322 units in February. It is followed in third place 3774 Citroen Picasso C4/C4 units. In fourth position we find the Ford Fiesta (3214), followed by the Nissan Qashqai (2,890), the Opel Astra (2,725), Peugeot 207 (2,681), the Opel Corsa in eighth place with 2588 units registered, the Peugeot 308 (2,438 ) and in tenth place the Ford Focus (2,412).
