The total decline of Pontiac

GM (like Ford) , is going through one of his worst moments in their history, where the financial crisis USA has further worsened their situation.
This is why GM , during this last time, it has largely cut their expenses and future projects, where all injured have left their marks on this. The European part of the group is currently gives more gain ( Opel and Saab ), which did not receive a cut so sharp. But in USA signature characteristic of GM are not getting a good pass at the moment, and one of the brands that are most detrimental to all this is Pontiac , signing more sports the group.
In a couple of years we will see that a Pontiac he cut several models. One of them will be the G8 , as it lost traction rear platform, where this disappears within five years. But this is not the only model, as also the Solstice will be seriously affected. With these decisions that we will see a more bleak future and with very few expectations for the brand.
It’s a shame that a firm that had a very good role models and prototypes in its history that one will never forget, finish your day this way. If the crisis continues to affect the group, might look to the past Pontiac during those years, and definitely we are with the total closure of the same, as happened with Oldsmobile in 2000 .
