The Toyota Prius II cheaper to sell it as a hybrid financial

It is possible that Toyota places this year to its two variants of the Prius on the market, more precisely Japan (so far). The recently submitted, III, and currently sells, the II.
If this is true, the strategy of Toyota would be perfect because it would address all sides andalusia Honda Insight, andalusia Chevrolet V and byd F3M , , and that none of these could exceed the record of this current generation.
There is nothing confirmed, but if this is real, we would have the Prius Classic II as an offer for a new segment that will automatically create this (¿hybrids affordable?), Where they just stand or above, the segment of the byd F3M , the cheapest hybrid car of course. Clear that talking about price, since the quality of the models is very, very different.
Now the model is sold in Japan at a price of 2 million yen (17,100 euros / $ 22,500 ), but if it continues, the price would drop a bit and would be much more accessible.
